These affordable homes are factory-built, and contracted out to neighborhood workforce. 

Thier mission states: We know that in order to build a more equitable future, we must create new paths to workforce, invest directly in community businesses, quality generational housing that people can afford, and stay with our communities in the long term to ensure every home, household, block and community are supported and thriving.

Recently in the news, Inherent Homes createda solution to housing migrants and homeless people by creating 80-square-foot “micro-houses” which are being built in its North Lawndale factory.  -Crains Business
