About The Speaker
Robert Tucker is the newly appointed President of the Chicago Community Loan Fund (CCLF), following Calvin L. Holmes in October of 2024. Tucker took on this position after serving as Interim President and Chief Operating Officer at CCLF. In his role, Bob leads CCLF’s efforts to provide affordable financing and technical support to help stabilize and grow neighborhoods, especially in low- to moderate-income areas. He’s passionate about using these resources to create positive change in communities across Chicago.
Before CCLF, Bob worked at Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago (NHS) as their Corporate General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer, where he helped shape strategies to manage risk and improve affordable housing in the city. He also has experience as a Partner at the law firm Chapman and Cutler LLP, where he worked with banks, nonprofits, and corporations on a variety of financial matters, including affordable housing.
